Motivations

Hey, I'm Lukas, and this website is my outlet to share various experiments and projects. I started working on Haste Research in 2024 as a way to glue together the many ideas I'd like to explore. I wanted a platform that I could use as a sandbox to share my projects with others, and get real exposure to the world.

Why "Haste Research"?

The name "Haste Research" hints at to how I like to work, moving quickly and rapidly iterating. It's also inspired by the Prusa Research branding, who I am personally a fan of.

What I'm Working On

My interests are pretty scattered, ranging from programming to electrical engineering, robotics and game development, hence my projects orbit around these topics. While I hope to commercialize some projects, I also wish to make significant contributions to open-sourced software and hardware. My current projects include:

• Game - Soon to be published on Steam.
• NixOS Explainer - A blog post explaining the details of the operating system i use, NixOS.
• Hardware & Electronics - Various ideas in the works.
